I need iPod help please. Anyone. please this is an emergency.?
I have an iPod nano first generation 4GB white.
I’ve had it for a year and a half
I treat it like gold.
I worked hard for it, and it was expensive, being the first iPod nano model.
Now that you know the background story, here’s the problem:
Nano is said to have 14 hour battery life when charged for the full 3 hours. I charge it for 3 hours, and it stays charged for 3 hours. I know that eventually the lithium battery within an iPod needs to be replaced. But how do I know when it is time to repace it?
Well, that doesn’t matter because I can’t even contact apple for iPod support.
One day my iPod decided to pause in the middle of playback of its own accord.
I really don’t know what to do. I’m helplessly lost. I tried the apple site, and it is unorganized. Even the site map didn’t help. I DESPERATELY NEED HELP. Please. I will take any advice I can get…. if you had to contact apple, what did you do?

I am not sure if it is the battery or the charging source. My iPod did the same before it went completely dead on me one day. Got an answer here and tried the ionhub charger. Everything is ok now. The battery still last not as long as new. But at least it works. My iPod does not even respond to my computer USB charging anymore.
