Volt Nicd
Nintendo DS battery home?

I have a rechargeable battery for my old Nintendo DS (Lite). I found that the line is SD 5.2 volts to 450 mAh (5.2 V is also part of the back of the DS). If I had a son four NiMH or NiCd rechargeable (1.2V) in series and connect to the DS, it works? I am sure that the cables in series adds the voltage to 4.8 volts, just under 5.2. Would it be okay to go a little more? For example, I could put 4 standard alkaline batteries (1.5V) and make a package of 6 volts?

I do not think your own is a good idea. The last time I tried it with my PSP broke and no I could fix it. They sad said that was because of a short furrow battery but I told them I had to do my own trried any case, if I were you I just go buy a new battery. Check e bay or something, can not be too expensive, what happened to your old battery?
